Baby & Child First Aid Course at St Michael’s All Angels Church

This 2-hour session aims to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide emergency first aid to your baby or child. You will learn how to perform life-saving interventions to make sure you are prepared for even the scariest of situations. 

Who are you?

You might be expecting, already have had your bub, or even have older children! You might be a grandparent or an aunty who is looking after little ones. This session covers newborns to 18 year olds so it really is for everyone.

Who are we?

We are Happy Hearts First Aid Training, and we are all about empowering people through our friendly and relaxed sessions. We are mums, so we understand what you are going through. We are health professionals, with the facilitator of this session having over a decade of experience as a Registered Nurse and teacher. We know how to provide engaging content that is relevant and evidence-based.

What will we cover?

– Baby & Child CPR

– Use of defibrillators 

– Recovery positions

– Management of choking

– Febrile seizures

– Burns

– Head injuries

– Meningitis and sepsis awareness

The session will be held in the Meeting Rooms, to the rear of the Church.

Parking: Limited spaces available within grounds and additional spaces on Grenfell Road.

Babies in arms are of course welcome!!
