This friendly and practical session is designed to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide emergency first aid to babies and children – from newborns through to children. You’ll learn how to stay calm and take action in those scary moments no one ever wants to face.

This session is for absolutely anyone caring for kids aged 0–18.

We’ll cover key emergencies, with a strong focus on practical tips you’ll remember when it matters most:
- Baby & Child CPR
- Defibrillator use
- Choking: how to recognise and respond
- Recovery positions
- Allergies & anaphylaxis
- Febrile seizures
- Burns
- Head injuries
- Meningitis & sepsis awareness
- Home safety tips

We will be in the meeting rooms to the rear of the church.
Please note that the venue is wheelchair accessible, with ramp access and an accessible toilet available within the meeting room facilities.

Who are we?
We’re Happy Hearts First Aid, passionate about helping parents feel calm and capable. Our sessions are fear-free, down-to-earth, and led by experienced healthcare professionals who also happen to be mums… we get it.
Meet your trainer: Daisy
Daisy will be running this session. She is a mum of three, a nurse, a first aid trainer and an absolute baby-wearing guru. You are in safe hands with Daisy!

Refund policy
If something comes up and you cannot make this session, we will need at least 72 hours minimum notice to swap you into another session. Otherwise, feel free to find someone to come in your place!
