To add your name to the waiting list\, or to book a course at your nursery or school\, please email me directly at info@happyheartsfirstaid.com  \n  \nThis Level 3 First Aid course designed for those who have an interest in child and baby Basic Life Support\, or require it for their workplace. \nThere are two options available: \nEmergency Paediatric First Aid Course (6 hours/ 1 day) \nThis course covers life-threatening conditions including: \nCPR \nCare of the unresponsive casualty \nChoking identification & management \nAnaphylaxis \nMinor injuries \nand more. \n£79 \n  \nFull Paediatric First Aid (6 hours e-learning/ 6 hours classroom) \nThis is the blended option perfect for teachers\, childminders and those working with children. If you are registered as a childminder\, work at a school\, or work in a childcare setting with EYFS children you will need  this full 2 day (12 hour) Paediatric First Aid course.  \nCovers the above content delivered face- to -face plus a 6 hour e- learning component covering the remainder of the course. \n£99 \n  \n  \nUpon successful completion\, a certificate will be issued which is valid for 3 years. \nThe course will be held a a comfortable\, spacious\, private residence in Hedgerley (a village between Beaconsfield and Farnham Common). Full address will be sent when booking is received. Some parking is available on site\, or else plenty is available in the surrounding streets. \nCost includes workbook\, tea/ coffee and morning/ afternoon tea of pastries and fruit. If you are registered as a childminder\, work at a school\, or work in a childcare setting with EYFS children you will need  this full 2 day (12 hour) Paediatric First Aid course.  \nCovers the above content delivered face- to -face plus a 6 hour e- learning component covering the remainder of the course. \n£99 \n  \n  \nUpon successful completion\, a certificate will be issued which is valid for 3 years. \nThe course will be held a a comfortable\, spacious\, private residence in Hedgerley (a village between Beaconsfield and Farnham Common). Our trainer will stay a safe distance away and of course everything is cleaned thoroughly before and after sessions.  \nAs a former Registered Nurse\, infection control has always been a priority to Sammy. SUMMARY:SOLD OUT Baby & Child First Aid Course at St Michael's All Angels Church
DESCRIPTION:This 2-hour session aims to give you the knowledge\, skills and confidence to provide emergency first aid to your baby or child. You will learn how to perform life-saving interventions to make sure you are prepared for even the scariest of situations.  \nWho are you? \nYou might be expecting\, already have had your bub\, or even have older children! You might be a grandparent or an aunty who is looking after little ones. This session covers newborns to 18 year olds so it really is for everyone. \nWho are we? \nWe are Happy Hearts First Aid Training\, and we are all about empowering people through our friendly and relaxed sessions. We are mums\, so we understand what you are going through. We are health professionals\, with the facilitator of this session having over a decade of experience as a Registered Nurse and teacher. We know how to provide engaging content that is relevant and evidence-based. \nWhat will we cover? \n– Baby & Child CPR \n– Use of defibrillators  \n– Recovery positions \n– Management of choking \n– Febrile seizures \n– Burns \n– Head injuries \n– Meningitis and sepsis awareness \n  \nWe are still being Covid careful! \nWe have completed a detailed risk assessments on this venue\, and have put all the necessary precautions in place. Limited numbers\, hand sanitiser… just a few of our extra precautions. You will be invited to perform chest compressions on our manikins\, and each group will have their own manikin. Our trainer will stay a safe distance away and of course everything is cleaned thoroughly before and after sessions.  \nAs a former Registered Nurse\, infection control has always been a priority to Sammy.
